39 Teams took part in Dominoes Netball Club’s 3 rd Annual Netball Tournament 2004
Dominoes Netball Club is proud to announce the success of their 3nd Annual Tournament that was held on Saturday 7 th August 2004 at The Velodrome (National Cycling Centre), Stuart Street, Manchester.
39 teams took part in the sweltering summer sun, playing around 8/9 games in a round robin, going on then to play in the last 8 teams, onto semi finals and then just the two teams left in the finals.
It was Trafford 1 st, Kestrel, Grangetown and Star NC who made it through to the semi finals. The final was between Kestrel Ladies ( Manchester) and Star NC ( Telford), with Star NC being the overall winners.
Our event this year, was supported by Netball UK, EAS Nutrition/Sports, Redhead Clothing, NSPCC, Nivea, Inprints, Warburtons Bread, Budweiser, Jelly Bellys, BBC Philharmonic, La Senza, Coronation Street, The Manchester Evening News Arena, Sally’s Hair Design, David Lloyd Gyms, Frankie and Bennies, TGI Fridays, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, The Acardia Group, Star Style, Haydock races, RobinsonsUmbro. Swizzles, & Gala Bingo.
