Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2008
Dominoes Netball Club is proud to announce that after the success of their 6th Annual (2 day) Tournament, they‘ll again be hosting another two day event, taking place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August 2008.
This year, the tournament will be held at Wright Robinson Specialist College, off Abbey Hey Lane, Gorton, Manchester M18 8RL.
If you're not familiar with the tournament, for the past 6 years teams have come from across the country, from as far a field as Scotland, Shropshire, London, Cumbria and the Isle of Man to take part. It comprises of two full days of netball, starting Saturday morning and continuing into Sunday afternoon.
The tournament will be played on outdoor courts and there are facilities on site such as hot food and beverages, and Netball UK with Asics will be there to cater for all your netball needs! There are also changing facilities with showers available inside the school.
We must stress that ALL TEAMS MUST provide a qualified umpire. Teams who do not have their own umpire will not be able to take part on the day. Dominoes NC will not provide any umpires and therefore suggest you approach your local league for assistance.
The cost to enter is £55.00 per team and applications are valid only upon receipt of payment prior to the tournament closing date. Please note this is a non-refundable payment.
35 teams took part in last year’s event and because of the change of venue we are restricted to how many teams can enter due to the number of courts available. Again cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the winners and runners up.
To avoid disappointment we strongly advise you to book early!

A one bedroom consists is like a ‘double room’ so can hold 2 people, the two bedroom apartments are 2 double bedrooms so they can hold 4 people. All the apartments are en-suite, with a dining area, TV, DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen. Included in the price is breakfast and car parking.
