ParaNetball
Dominoes Netball club are very proud to have established the very first ParaNetball Club in the North West. Our Club goals are to be inclusive, ambitious and to focus on all aspects of Netball. We put community first for all our members and ensure that there is an opportunity for everyone!
We successfully ran our ParaNetball programme for 12 months and had lots of young people living with a disability attend. The sessions run on the first Saturday of each month from 10am – 11am.
After seeing the success of these sessions Super league club Manchester Thunder approached us to add to the growth and development of the programme.
Working collaboratively with inclusion and community focus at our heart this partnership now means that more young deaf and disabled people will see they too can take part in the successful ParaNetball programme.
These sessions now sit under the Manchester Thunder brand and is supported by Nicols PLC.
The coaching team remains the same with the entire ParaNetball programme being lead by the founder of sessions Dominoes Netballer Katie Thompson.
